Ask for proof of licensing where required and current insurance. Look for a local address, a real phone number and consistent reviews on Google.
Ask about manufacturer standing
Recognition from a shingle manufacturer, like our TAMKO Platinum status, shows a track record with that product.
Red flags
Pressure to sign on the spot, large cash deposits, no written estimate, or out-of-town crews that show up right after a storm and disappear.
Get it in writing
A good estimate lists materials, scope, cleanup and warranty. Ours are itemized so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
